Appearance

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Meliorn has brown colored skin, eyes to match, long dark, black hair that has blue streaks through it, and pointed ears. He once had a green leaf on his cheek, but as part of his punishment from the Seelie Queen for helping Clary, it was removed and left were cuts that formed into a curved scar. When unarmored, he wears loose shirts and has a rather elegant appearance. When dressed in his armor, he wears the heavy metal that is of a brown color and is holding his sword and shield in preparation for battle.

Personality

BASIC PERSONALITY: Meliorn, like most Seelies, is quite manipulative. He is crafty, cunning, and can evade the revealing of truths by diverting conversation with cryptic messages or questions of his own to distract. He does not display any emotions, nor lets them impair his judgment. He is a man of great honor, and while fiercely loyal to his kind, he also knows the importance of returning a debt, unwilling to compromise his own integrity. This has caused him to be punished, one occasion stronger than most others. He is a diplomat, the representative of Seelies and speaks on behalf of the Queen. He is a man with political mind, and unencumbered by emotional ties to others.

SPECIAL SKILLS: He is skilled with a sword and shield in combat, possesses magical abilities, and is incredibly manipulative.

WEAKNESSES: Like all Seelies, Meliorn can not lie. While they can manipulate the truth, the inability to lie causes great inconveniences at time. It causes Meliorn to be bluntly honest, even when he does not want to be. And his silence can often be interpreted as confirmation when he is attempting to keep something concealed.

HISTORY: Meliorn was born among the Fair Folk in the Seelie Realm, over a century ago. His upbringing was as normal as it would be for any Faerie. Though Meliorn's strong loyalty to the queen and building skill in combat, leadership and diplomacy, was well recognized at a fairly young age. He worked his way towards favor of the Queen and soon was appointed as the Seelie representative. He would be the one to talk on the Queen's behalf with her, and all Seelie's best interests at heart.

Meliorn is very focused on his duties, and is often distrusting of Shadowhunters, once even suggesting removing their runes as a lesson. Despite his romantic involvement with one of them, he does not let emotions cloud his judgment. His kind will always be his priority, and he will ally them on whatever side has the upper hand and is more likely to win.
