AREN'T BLACK AND WHITE
Magnus felt as if a weight . . no, as if a thousand weights had been lifted from his shoulders. Making up with Alec had allowed Magnus to finally feel whole again. To feel as if his heart could beat without an ache. Magnus completed him in a way that no one else had, and being at odds with the man he loved had truly taken its toll. Alec had apologized, had worked to mend the rift . . . and Magnus could not be any more grateful, nor elated. They were together again once more, and suddenly . . . everything felt wonderful. The darkness that consumed his life without the Shadowhunter was replaced with a bright future. And present of course. So Magnus wished for nothing more than to spend some time alone with him. To, rekindle what they had.
No, what they have. For it never truly went away. It was merely under the tension, needing to be freed. The walk to his place felt wonderful. The ease in which they talked had been sorely missed. Magnus even held Alec's hand in his own, never taking the warmth of it for granted. After being apart, he would take nothing for granted when it came to Alexander. When they arrived at his home, he waved the door open and stepped in with Alec before waving it shut. Magnus spun around, his hand casually resting on Alec's shirt; on his chest. "Is your memory a good one, or do you need a tour?" Magnus asked him teasingly, flirtation in his voice as he jested about how long it had been since Alec was in his apartment. His words causing the warlock to lean in a little more towards his lover.
